Divine Vibration comes with a very special remix package featuring Robert Babicz, Clyde Rouge, Josh Wetherington and Christopher James, on the integral Laika Sounds. The Treehouse Miami resident also sees success with his label, Typ3 Records. In line with his fantastic recent release we asked him what his top 5 remixes of all time are…

1. Donna Summer – I Feel Love (Danny Howells Mix 2009 Re-Rub)

This Danny Howells remix of a legendary Disco classic brings instant magic
to the dance-floor regardless of when, where, or who you are, this one is going to make you get up and dance.

2. Lostep – Burma (Sasha Remix)

When Sasha’s involver album released it found its way on endless repeat on my stereo. Burma was one of those stand out tracks in the mix that had me entranced and digging deeper into the seamless storytelling of Sasha’s style.

3. Afrika Bambaataa – Planet Rock ’99 (Back 2 Basics George Acosta Remix)

In the late 90’s I picked up this “Sounds of a synthetic future” CD filled with classic remixes including this one from George Acosta. This was a pivotal collection of music in my mid teens that really had me ditching the radio and getting more into electronic sounds. Crazy enough the music would lead to connecting me with George Acosta in Miami almost 20 years later to release his alias EP under the title “Seeds (US)” on my label Typ3 Records. Additionally also releasing from Styrke and meeting with Noel Sanger, all remixers on that 90’s album.

4. Energy 52 – Cafe Del Mar (Dale Middleton Remix)

Filled with emotion and Ibiza energy, this remix brings you back to that oceanside sunset feeling. You can almost taste the salty sea air when this one comes on.

5. Luke Hunter – Divine Vibration (Robert Babicz Remix)

After opening for Robert Babicz three years ago in Miami, the music lead us to work together with Robert doing an incredible remix of my original track “Divine Vibration” which just released this September on Laika Sounds. In signature Babicz style, this conscious forward dance-floor heater delivers you ever deeper into a divine melodic soundscape. The remix and release has made its mark in Beatport’s top releases and charts becoming an instant Progressive House classic.
