Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth On Acid label has decided the time is right to serve up a first ever full length album. The man they call upon for the honour is Mees Salome who follows on from other names like Carl Cox and Pig&Dan who have released on the label.

Salome is a young Dutch producer with a melodic techno sound that has found its way into the bags of big hitters like Joris Voorn. Here he showcases his style across 12 tracks that prove he has a real broad array of skills.

Natural kicks things off with smooth and seductive deep house grooves. It’s one to sink you into a late night mood and keep you there. Letting go is a shorter melodic house interlude that lifts you up to the stars and Just Thoughts then brings in a spine tingling vocal that again lifts your spirits.

Elsewhere Maybe is a cosmic bit of house with rich melodies falling down the face of the dreamy groove and Crybaby is a shorter piece that is rich in musical colour and skyward beats. Things close out through more driven house cuts like Ethereal and the supple, haunting Unseen before Sap leaves us cast adrift in a sea of lush melodies and synths. This then is a brilliant album and perfect one to be the first ever on the esteemed label.
