Moxy Muzik head honcho Darius Syrossian is on a roll right now and that continues as he takes charge of the second release on his label. It features one big new original and remixes from legends old and new.
The original is a brilliantly bulky house cut with fat drums and nice loose percussion. It sucks you in over and over, with a rising synth loop that builds the sense of party. After a slick breakdown it drops once more and is sure to blow up the floor. The long time house champ that is Tommy Vicari then remixes it into a filter heavy jam with skewed synths and weird little vocals all laid over bumping drums. Last of all, minimal maestro Christian Burkhardt ups the ante with a more urgent, kinetic remix that is all vocal yelps and old school stabs. It rounds out another versatile and vital EP.
